APM Studios delivers relevant, timely and human stories that build community. Through their subsidiary brand for Kids and Family, they bring that same commitment to a niche audience that's growing fast. Their programming stimulates curious young minds to question and claim a deeper understanding of the world. To reflect the brand's mission and values, I created a visual system that is bright, vibrant and flexible, using modular elements like shape blocks to represent the collaborative process of building community through a diversity of voices.
Brand System
In order to ensure consistency, I developed a brand system and brand book to walk the APM Studios team through how to use it.
Brand guardrails
To better explain the brand’s guardrails, I demonstrated them visually through a set of original illustrations.
Modular shape compositions
I provided APM Studios with a kit of modular shapes that could be used in a variety of ways, to give visual materials a sense of playfulness, collaboration, and building community.
